Our client has a need to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its small and friendly finance team. The role can either be full or part time.

Working within a small finance team, the main focus of this role will be end to end purchase ledger, including all aspects of purchase ledger and the purchase ordering system. You will be responsible for ensuring robust internal controls are in place for purchase ledger, the preparation of the month end purchase ledger accrual, monthly intercompany transfers and resolving any purchase ledger queries or issues. You will also be responsible for all aspects of expenses including processing all staff expenses and mileage claims including month end reconciliation and month end credit card accruals. This role sits within a friendly finance team where team spirit is the key. You will be required to support other team members in areas such as cashiering, sales ledger or credit control.

The successful individual will have accounts experience gained in a purchase ledger or a transactional environment. Experience of Sage is highly desirable in this role.
